Elder Pratt taught us how to teach "baptism" on the first contact. He used the picture of Christ being baptized by John the Baptist in the pamphlet, The Gospel of Jesus Christ.
He said there are three important things to teach using that picture.
1. That we must be baptism by immersion.
2. That you must be older.
3. That it must be done with the proper authority.
In his mission in Chile when they used this approach, they doubled the number of baptisms per month in their mission.
