Tyson was playing soccer and rolled his ankle! OUCH! 5-12-08

He assures us that it is fine and he is able to walk on it now. 5-13-08

Today (5-19-08) he said he is able to walk ok and that it is healing well.
A few weeks ago we received these pictures of a service project the missionaires helped with.
Before Tysons mission he worked cement, so he is right at home here. He may not speak the language very well but service is a universal language that everyone understands.

How fun..........he looks so happy!

Go Elders!

The muddy buddy............. hey lookin' thinner in the face bunny.

nice tag............he said it cleaned up ok.

Here is Tyson being "Bob the Builder" caulking their window so they don't freeze at night. It is getting colder now. He is opposite of us. They are going into winter as we head into summer.

Isn't he the cutest missionary ever............man I miss him!

Ok............I don't want to really know what they did with the chicken...

Gross..............

Yummy............that I could eat.............not sure if he helped make them or not.

Tyson's lst companion, Elder Manus? eating lunch at the pizza place.

Elder Tyson Pratt arrived in Concepcion Chile on Feb. 26, 2008. Here he is with President & Sister Chavez.
His first area is in the sector of Panamericana in the Talga Stake. It is located in the center of the country about 4 hours north of Concepcion.
His first companion was from Peru. His new companion is from Chile.
The work is slow. We keep praying for him and the people that he will be led to those who are seeking the truth. We also need to pray for the converts that they will have the desire to remain active. Hopefully Tyson will be able to make a difference in their lives.
His spanish is coming along. He started reading the Book of Mormon in spanish and I'm sure this will increase his understanding of the language tremendously.
We love you Elder Tyson. We love Mondays!!! That is his p-day. We love getting the weekly emails and sharing them with the family.
